Garra y Corazón does not walk the avenue: it reigns. Making its debut in the Special Group of the Artigas carnival, the school shakes the border with the ancestral strength of a cry that will not be silenced, presenting the theme “Temos a Cor da Noite”.

Our journey begins in the cradles of gold and power, honouring the great African empires and the incalculable riches that crossed centuries running through the veins of generations. But our crown is, above all, one of knowledge. We reveal the magic of African science, the monumental engineering that defied time, the precision of the great mathematicians and the intellectual genius of sovereigns who built kingdoms out of light, study and grandeur.

With a sumptuous, imposing and visceral parade, Garra y Corazón debuts in the elite to prove that true royalty never bowed. On the samba runway, the sacred mantle of the night clothes our history, and our grit is the strength of an entire continent that is reborn and rules.
