Getting to the Carnaval de Artigas
Artigas is in northern Uruguay, on the border with Brazil. How to get there by road and where from.
Where it is
The carnival is held in the city of Artigas, capital of the department of the same name, at the northern tip of Uruguay, opposite the Brazilian city of Quaraí.

The Special Group parades take place on Avenida Lecueder, the city's carnival runway.
